Our tip this week is for all you Runescape players out there. Too often RS players spend hours trying to earn money to get all the stuff they want. They try everything from mining ore, smelting it into bars and then crafting items to sell, to spending endless hours chopping wood or fishing for lobster. Yes, you can make money this way…if you want to be bored to death. We prefer a much simpler, much faster way to easily (and quickly) make Runescape gold.
KIDLES: When you start your new Runescape avatar, you start in the town of Lumbridge. Fortunately, just east of Lumbridge is one of the best places to get gold: the cowfield. To earn cow hides, you’ll first want to empty everything from your inventory except for your armor and weapons. Take these to the bank and deposit them. Then head east out of the castle and across the bridge, then north until you see the field to the east with all the cows in it. This is where you’ll earn money.
When you first enter the cow field, you will probably see many other people there killing cows. This is also a great place to train low level skills, which is why it’s such a great place to get money. All the cow trainers are usually too busy picking up the cowhides, which means all you have to do is go around and pick up the loose cow hides. If all the rails are picked up, there is no problem. Just kill the cows yourself and take the skins.
Collect cow hides until your inventory is full. Then take them to the bank and return for more. You will collect around 100 skins, but the more you get, the more money you earn.
Once you have your skins, go to the bank and cash them out as a note. Then go up to the Grand Exchange outside Varrock. There you will be able to sell your skins for about 130 gp each. If you have 100 skins, that’s 13,000 gold for just picking up scraps.
Not bad, huh?
